The Academy is envisaged as a collaboration among agencies and individuals committed to enhance the capacities of people and institutions working in and with and for drylands. So far, people have contributed to the education framework, worked together on a new academic curriculum, co-financed and organized a workshop to customize an extension training course for dryland audiences, and co-delivered a ‘summer school’ for dryland scholars and students.
